Every year SplashData compiles a list of millions of passwords that have been discovered and made public throughout the year, then groups and ranks all the passwords in order to discover the most popular and widely used passwords on the internet. In 2015, more than 2 million leaked passwords were ranked. Again, the passwords '123456' and 'password' were among the most used on the internet worldwide.
