Trojans and adware are the most widespread malware in Brazil.
A survey by the cybersecurity company Avast reveals that of the ten most prevalent types of malware in Brazil, banking trojans — or Trojan horses as they are also known — dominated the cyber risk landscape, accounting for 26.86% of threats targeting Windows and macOS devices, while adware occupies the top position on the list (59.36%) of threats targeting Android devices.
