Lake Charles Memorial Health System (LCMHS) has issued a notice of a data breach affecting nearly 270,000 people who received care at one of its medical centers. It is estimated that a massive advertising fraud campaign using Google Ads and 'popunders' on adult websites generated millions of ad impressions on stolen articles, allowing the fraudsters to earn an estimated $275,000 per month.
