Confirmed Purchase Scam is the leading crime in the digital market
OLX and AllowMe mapped the main types of fraud and data on scams in Brazil in 2022. According to the study, the "Confirmed Purchase" scam tops the list with 57% of cases—a 75% increase over the previous year. Next are: "False Ad" (37%) and "Data Theft" (6%), which recorded one data theft attempt per minute in 2022.
