[Lumiun News] New page for speed limit

Hello everyone, I'm back to tell the latest update on the Lumun Control Panel to improve the “Speed Limit” functionality.

What is the speed limit functionality?

This functionality, as its name implies, adds a download speed limit and upload to all equipment of a particular group. This way you can use Lumiun to better distribute the band on your internet avoiding exaggeration of some equipment or releasing better speed for the group of equipment you really need.

This functionality is available only for the Enterprise .

The newest update we make available to our customers is the new page to add speed limit.

If you were already a client of the Enterprise plan, you will remember that there was a field to inform a number in Mbit/s on the "Access Control" page. And that number limited both download and upload speed. It was simple, functional, but very limited don't you think?

As you can notice, we remove the speed limit option from the “Access Control” page and create a new page in the “Administrator” section called “Speed Limit” that brings together all the created and distinct download and upload fields. Now you can set up the speed limit for all groups and also stipulate different speeds for download and upload.

To make sure the rule has been applied, you can click on the “traffic speed chart” link located below each group, as illustrated in the image below, and track if the boundaries are actually taking effect.
