The Liga Insights IT Startups study, conducted by Liga Ventures with support from Ibmec and Astella Investimentos, ranked Lumiun as one of 117 startups transforming IT in Brazil. The report provides an overview of Brazilian startups developing innovative IT solutions. A total of 10,085 startups were analyzed, and Lumiun was among the 14 selected in the Security, Fraud, and Validation category.

The study published by Liga Ventures also mentions data from other important ICT reports:
- IDC Brazil's 2018 forecast survey , 63% of companies surveyed said they increased their security budget. According to the forecast, security investments in Brazil are expected to grow by approximately 9% in 2018.
- An analysis by consulting firm Gartner estimates that global cybersecurity investments could reach US$96 billion in 2018, an 8% increase over the previous year. Of this amount, US$17 billion will be allocated to infrastructure protection and US$57 billion to security services.
- A global study by Cisco ( Cisco 2018 Annual Cybersecurity Report ) found that 53% of attacks resulted in financial losses exceeding US$500,000, resulting from the loss of customers, revenue and opportunities.
